The Minds Behind InnoMed

Meet the Founders

Three different worlds. One shared mission.

Real change in healthcare doesn't happen when technologists stay in tech or doctors stay in clinics. It happens when they collide.InnoMed was born from a rare intersection: frontline clinical wisdom, relentless operational strategy, and visionary AI engineering. We aren’t just a tech company building medical tools. We are a multidisciplinary team that has felt the pain points of the healthcare system firsthand, and we built InnoMed to fix them.

The Clinic, The Data, and The Breaking Point

(The Journey of Dr. Zahra Akbari, CEO)

For two decades, Dr. Zahra Akbari did what dedicated doctors do: she treated the patient sitting right in front of her. But as a Consultant Dermatologist moving between massive, fast-paced hospitals and specialized private clinics across the globe, she saw much more than just medical conditions. She worked shoulder-to-shoulder with overwhelmed healthcare staff and experienced firsthand the systemic bottlenecks, fragmented communication, and operational chaos that constantly delayed patient care.

She spent her days navigating these flawed systems to diagnose complex cases, and her nights conducting rigorous clinical research, looking for better answers. But over time, a quiet frustration began to grow.

She was identifying critical treatment patterns. She was publishing peer-reviewed papers in top-tier medical journals. Yet, no matter how hard she worked, traditional medicine had a ceiling; she could only help one person at a time, within a system that was fundamentally broken.

The realization hit her hard: the medical insights were trapped. The data that could potentially save lives or speed up diagnoses was sitting in academic journals and clinic notes, rather than actively helping the millions of people stuck in healthcare backlogs.

Scaling Wisdom Through Technology

Dr. Akbari knew that to truly fix healthcare, empirical data needed to step out of the clinic and meet modern technology. She realized that if her years of clinical insights could be translated into code, they could bypass the systemic bottlenecks and impact millions globally.

This realization became the exact spark that led to InnoMed. She stepped beyond the traditional boundaries of medicine, diving into Health Informatics and Artificial Intelligence. Her mission was no longer just about treating patients individually, but about building intelligent systems that make care faster, more accurate, and accessible to everyone.
